About

I am a political theorist and intellectual historian who is currently Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Theory at Colgate University.

My research focuses on the relationship between political theology, natural law, and political secularism and has been published in Journal of the History of Ideas, History of Political Thought and Intellectual History Review.

My current book project examines the role of natural law theory in the emergence of early modern political secularism.

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science at Columbia University and have previously taught at Princeton University.
